We are a Local Non-Governmental, nonpartisan and non-profit making organization registered on 16th March, 2018 under the Non-Governmental Organization Act, 2002. No.24 of 2002 with registration number 00NGO/0009585 with its headquarters in Songea, Ruvuma region, dedicated to increasing household’s incomes and improving livelihoods through interventions in Agriculture and cross-cutting issues (Nutrition, Environment, youth and HIV/Aids). RUATI provide services in a wide range of agricultural displine and cross-cutting issues, The services of RUATI include agribusiness owners’ trainings, extension provision and financial linkage through project write-ups, Micro-projects supervisions, technologies up scaling, groups’ formations, collaboration and networking. Also, RUATI services will touch vulnerable groups and cross-cutting issues (Nutrition, Environment, youth and HIV/Aids). To the part of vulnerable groups, the services are mostly to the categories of empowerment and adaptation to climate change. Since its inception in 2018, RUATI has evolved remarkably and has become renowned for being an organization that strengthen and improve the livelihoods of local communities using a participatory and holistic approach. The main achievement has been in changing people’s lives through giving them a voice to influence changes “Technically, Socially, Economically and environmentally”. Currently the organization has staff with multi-disciplinary expertise in agriculture, nutrition, law, human resources, gender, sociology, environment, project management, monitoring and evaluation, fundraising, financial management and marketing among other.
