RUATI envisage quality services provision which will lead to optimal and sustainable utilization of niche and fast growing agro-market among rural and urban Tanzanians for their social and economic benefits.

MISSION

In collaboration with other development partners, RUATI will strive to be the best provider of agricultural knowledge and skills to the society in order to develop and sustain the Agricultural sector and enhance social welfare of the community at large while conserving the environment.

OUR APPROACH

To stimulate, develop, promote, and enable agricultural and rural development innovations in Tanzania through the exchange of information and expertise based on experiences and lessons learned. Through community involvement, participatory problems and challenges solving, particularly youth and women smallholder farmers and aspiring entrepreneurs, who are considered marginalized groups across agricultural value chain programs, can be addressed. Farmers, entrepreneurs, policymakers, researchers, learners, academicians, and other stakeholders can now access and share information and knowledge to help improve extension services for Tanzanian farmers.

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

i.To promote the use of local and imported agricultural technologies including infrastructures
ii.To facilitate the development of value chains for crops, livestock, bee keeping and fisheries.
iii.To sustain agricultural production environment.

v.To form and strengthen farmer groups and organizations and enhance networking.
vi.To sensitize, lobby and advocate on productive and health sector.
vii.To intervene on cross-cutting issues while facilitating agricultural development.
