RUATI is a local non-governmental, non-partisan, and non-profit organization committed to improving household food security, safety, and income across mainland Tanzania. Its main focus is on enhancing living conditions through practical agricultural solutions tailored to the unique needs of local communities. RUATI stands out through its participatory and holistic approach, working closely with communities to ensure their input shapes technological, social, economic, and environmental developments. This strategy empowers people to take part in decisions that directly affect their lives, fostering sustainable and positive change. Since its founding, RUATI has become recognized for driving agricultural innovation and community engagement. Registered under Tanzania’s NGO Act, the organization operates transparently and responsibly, aiming to boost social and economic growth while supporting sustainable development and community welfare throughout the regions it serves.
RUATI envisage quality services provision which will lead to optimal and sustainable utilization of agricultural land, agricultural technologies and niche and fast growing agro-market among rural and urban Tanzanians for their social and economic benefits.
In collaboration with other development partners, RUATI will strive to be the best provider of agricultural knowledge and skills to the society in order to develop and sustain the Agricultural sector and enhance social welfare of the community at large while conserving production environment
